What You’ll Do

- Manage Reader Platform, Imaging Data Management, Image Management, and Clinical Programming teams
- Oversee successful, timely, and cost-effective implementation of imaging applications
- Interact with clients and teams to understand needs and identify best practices
- Evaluate applications, technology, processes, and influence changes for competitive advantage and optimized performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders and key opinion leaders to ensure delivery of client needs
- Review and develop standards for Imaging applications, Reader Platform, and Technology teams
- Lead creation of Data Transfer Specifications
- Lead UAT process for image transfer, data management, and report development teams
- Ensure alignment between organizational and vendor development and delivery schedules
- Maintain and monitor internal and external client satisfaction
- Adhere to company policies related to imaging IT & clinical applications, development, and deliverables within scope and budget
- Create and coach team members to deliver strategic and tactical results
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard processes and procedures for Imaging Application and Technology teams
- Develop department goals, metrics, and annual objectives
- Oversee Report Development and Imaging Data Management team deliverables and documentation
- Oversee IT and application vendors as appropriate
- Assess industry trends and advise direction for future growth
- Collaborate with Director of Systems Development, Director of Project Management, Executive Management, COO, and Medica teams
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (combination of education/related experience required; Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum seven years of experience in the medical imaging industry and Imaging Data Management
- Five years of leadership experience preferred
- Strong network IT and Data Management background
- Knowledge of Quality Management System principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards
- Knowledge of FDA/HIPAA and other global regulatory compliance guidelines
- Experience in oversight of imaging trials and working in a regulated industry
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of imaging core lab processes and challenges
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adjust priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in creating and delivering presentations, resolving issues, and understanding image platform technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Tableau
- Prior technical experience with systems development, validation in clinical trials, and strong network IT background
- Experienced in Imaging Data Management and staying updated on emerging technologies for imaging core lab
