Rago/Wright, a growing fine art and decorative arts auction company, is looking for an experienced Cataloguer with knowledge of fine art to join our dynamic team. As a Cataloguer, you will assist with receiving, cataloging and describing property—from paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and more—to be sold at auction or in one of our online direct sales venues.

Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify and tag all incoming property
- Catalog all property to be sold at auction or otherwise
- Complete condition reports and vet auction property with our specialists
- Description assistance as needed
- Assist in the organization and flow of property
- Assist with preview setup
- Address property questions as they arise
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in an auction house or gallery setting
- A minimum of BA degree (preferably in Art, Art History, Literature)
- Prior understanding for the auction business, preferred
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in standard computer programs such as Word and Excel
