Ragstock
Minneapolis, MN Full Time
POSTED ON 1/30/2022 CLOSED ON 3/29/2022

What are the responsibilities and job description for the eCommerce Manager position at Ragstock?

The Company

Ragstock is a retail clothing company with 40 stores across the country. We carry trendy, affordable, new and vintage clothing. Our office and warehouse are located in Northeast Minneapolis.

The Role

The eCommerce Manager is the key person responsible for Ragstock’s online business. You will be in charge of the technical day-to-day operations, analyzing sales and traffic data to find opportunities for growth, working with external developers to improve website functionality, and collaborating with internal team members to keep things running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who wants to lead a team with a large growth opportunity.

What You’ll Bring - Technically:

  • Real world experience running an eCommerce website, preferably WooCommerce.
  • Working knowledge of web development, including HTML/CSS and Wordpress. Familiarity with Javascript is a plus. You don’t need to be able to single-handedly build enterprise websites, but you must know enough to proficiently maintain a website, be our in-house technical problem solver, and communicate effectively with external developers.
  • Fluency in SEO concepts and tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs.
  • Some experience with modern email marketing strategies (segments, flows, etc). We use Klaviyo.
  • Ability to create, manage, and analyze basic paid marketing campaigns with Google AdWords and Facebook Ad Manager.
  • Competency with Google Sheets for creating basic reports.
  • An understanding of how technical tools can be used strategically to increase sales.

What You’ll Bring - Personally:

  • General tech savviness.
  • A self-starter approach. We have a playbook, but we’re expanding it and want your ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Both high-level strategic thinking, and a roll-up-your-sleeves ability to get things done.
  • Poise and patience while working in a fast paced environment.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to do work that makes an impact, and implement your good ideas.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Discounts on our legitimately cool merchandise.
