What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at Rainbow International of Beachwood?
As Project Estimator, you are a key team member in upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction and professionalism. You will inspect sites and write estimates as a result of damage caused by water, fire, or smoke as well as perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop business as required. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers and are able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all stages of the reconstruction estimates you will write
- Maintain reconstruction projects through completion in all appropriate systems
- Manage the maintenance of all assigned vehicles and equipment
- Communicate with customers throughout restoration process
- Check in with project managers who are on job sites frequently to verify work is being performed correctly and up to estimate specifications
- Stay on projected timelines that comply with Rainbow standards
- Work with management to develop a business plan to generate prospective customers to meet the projected sales goals
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Three or more years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Construction experience
- Ability to write reconstruction estimates in Xactimate and Symbility systems REQUIRED
- IICRC certifications are a plus
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, experience with spreadsheets, business software and programs
- Professional appearance and personality
- Work well independently and as a part of a team
