What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Assistant position at Rainbow King Lodge, Inc.?
We are looking for an assistant to work an 8-5 or 9-6 shift in the kitchen. This person would be responsible for simple day to day tasks and assisting the two chefs with minimal dinner and breakfast prep. We are a fly out fly fishing lodge that serves about 16 guests per week and about 20 employees.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Assist chefs with minimal prep
- Dish washing during the day
- Taking appetizers to the rec room in the evening before shift ends
- Be willing to help with other tasks in the kitchen when needed
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Skills
- Some restaurant experience is helpful but not necessary
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
- High school diploma is a plus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
