What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate or Lead Infant Teacher position at RainbowLand Child Development Center?
Full-time position for our Little Lambs infant program. Children in this group are 7 month to approximately 14 months of age. The program has a maximum of 9 children; however we have part-time staff to assist throughout the day, putting 3 teachers in the program and reducing the teacher to child ratio. This allows the teachers to spend some one on one time with the children in a less stressful environment. Teachers also share an early and late shift. Hours are 7:30 - 3:30 and 8:30 - 5:30. An hour lunch is given for the shift of 8:30 to 5:30. If a lunch hour is not needed, hours may be flexible.
Duties
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- weekly curriculum planning
- maintain a safe, clean and organized environment
- interact with children to help build self-esteem
- assist children in reaching developmental milestones to prepare them for our one year old program
Requirements
Education and experience are a must for this position since we are licensed by the State of NH.
- A minimum of 9 credits for Associate Teacher
- A minimum of 18 credits for Lead Teacher
- 3 credits must be in Child or Human Growth & Development
