Overview:
I am seeking accounting help with A/P and A/R for a construction company, real estate development as well as a retail operation. The ideal candidate would be a rockstar in accounting and maintain a high level of accuracy as well as challenge the owner when reconciling etc. I need to raise the current bar from 80-90% to 95-100%.
Additionally there are some admin assistant duties including preparing reports, presentations and assisting the owner with various tasks.
This is a part time position at this point, and hours may vary per week, schedule is flexible however so it may be a good fit for someone retired or with other obligations.
Qualifications
- Expert in QuickBooks, Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Familiarity with tax preparation and technical accounting practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
