Rainman Digital is a San Antonio based digital branding agency that focuses on results-driven Web Design, Development and SEO. Located in the beautiful business park Shavano Commons (right off 1604 and Lockhill-Selma), we are a small team comprised of fun and energetic people.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a strategic SEO Marketing Content Creator to lead marketing efforts. Our ideal candidate has a working knowledge of SEO best practices, search algorithms and ranking strategies, and a passion for staying abreast of news and trends in SEO and online marketing. They also value quality content and technical insight to optimize client websites for search engines.
What You’ll Do
As our SEO Marketing Content Creator, you'll be a self starter and possess the skills to lead others. You'll manage clients by phone, emails, CRM, and face-to-face meetings. Working closely with our web developers from start to launch a website (determine site maps, H tags, metadata etc.); edit and write original content and perform updates and maintenance for clients. You'll need to be customer friendly, a team player, flexible to change, and tech-savvy.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Conduct industry-related research for varied and engaging content
- Update and publish content on a variety of website platforms, mostly in WordPress
- Create work that reflects the desired voice of a brand and drives results
- Perform ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
- Multitask between different clients
Required Skills
- Provide us writing samples of web content, technical content, and blog articles
- A keen eye for grammar and punctuation with all written communication and copy
- Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices
- Ability to develop content that ranks on Google
- Experience with website development (WordPress, Yoast, etc.)
- Highly organized
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Must be able to work in our local office (Monday-Friday, 8-5)
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's in Marketing, English, Journalism or other related majors
- HTML knowledge
- Experience with public speaking and giving presentations
- Experience with Google Ads and SEM a bonus
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience with Google Search Console, Google Business, and Google Analytics
- Experience in the IT/Tech industries or a Marketing agency
- Knowledge of CRM and Project Management programs, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Dropbox, etc.
- Must be based locally

Pay: Commensurate to experience and proven ability
