Overview:
The Warehouse Lead Auditor leads, trains and directs the inventory and procurement team to meet operational goals. Responsible for inventory management from building relationships from suppliers, ordering of product based off forecasts, inventory counts and audits, to recouping damages that occur on site and in trade.
Responsibilities:
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and direct teams.
· Responsible for ensuring daily inventory cycle counts are being completed.
· High level for attention to detail, auditing inventory shrinkage to minimize costs.
· Enforce operational and personnel policies and procedures.
· Ensures optimal inventory levels are maintained to fulfill daily sales needs.
· Strong comprehension in Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, Outlook.
· Works closely with sales teams to meet operational needs.
· Builds strong relationships with product suppliers.
· Oversees and assists in procurement of inventory based off forecast.
· Directs re-work team to recoup of damaged inventories either from on site or trade to minimize costs.
· Ensure that the warehouse and respective areas housekeeping is maintained to provide a safe and hazard free environment.
· Builds reports for review of operational standings to assist management in opportunities of improvement.
· Provides service to the sales teams while minimizing operational cost.
· Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. May require off-shift and weekend work.
· Attend and/or lead all inventory meetings.
· Follows and enforces all safety operations, Company Vehicle and Equipment policies
· Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of warehouse experience.
• 3-5 years supervisory or management experience
• 3-5 years inventory management experience
