Responsibilities:
- Assist with various construction tasks such as tear off/demolition, lifting and carrying materials, equipment setup, cleanup, and installation.
- Operate hand and power tools as directed by the supervisor
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
