INTERNET SALES REPRESENTATIVE – BIRMINGHAM, AL

Dynamic company seeks Internet Sales Representative to embark on a successful career at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. Ram Tool has a vast product line with 90,000 unique items to sell and over 90% of customer deliveries made within 24 hours.

Ram Tool’s eCommerce and online presence is rapidly expanding to reach a wide variety of audiences via multiple platforms. These channels complement our traditional business model that established Ram Tool as the best construction supply company in the industry.

Candidates must be organized and extremely proficient with computers. Sales experience and integrity are required. Construction knowledge is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works at the Corporate office processing quotes and orders for Ram Tool’s key national customer accounts
• Assists with placement of orders, refunds, exchanges, cancellations or other modifications of products
• Communicates consistently with Customers, Outside Sales Representatives, Branch and Operations Managers
• Maintains an accurate and complete record of transactions, purchases and returns
• Initiates contact with customers to ensure satisfaction, inform and educate on products and promote new products and sales
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Excellent computer skills and capability to adeptly operate Ram Tool’s Enterprise Resource Planning software system, SAP, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong customer service skills via phone and email
• Maintains regular attendance at work to ensure a high-quality and timely response for customers
• Must perform work accurately and with a sense of urgency and integrity while paying strict attention to detail

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 year degree is required (although additional industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• 1-2 years work experience (preferably in construction supply sales)

• Standard Drug Screen and Background Checks will be performed.
