As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning all dishes, utensils, glassware and dishes. You will also wash and sanitize the dishwashing area, maintain inventory of dishwashing supplies and clean all dishware.
Job Description:
Our restaurant, Malinda, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work efficiently under pressure. This role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dishwashing area.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and floors
- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling
- Assist with inventory control and stocking supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Wash and sanitize all dishware including glassware, pots and pans, plastic ware and silverware.
- Wash and sanitize the dishwashing area.
- Maintain inventory of all dishwashing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Clean all equipment in the kitchen.
- Keep the kitchen orderly and clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
