You will join our Construction Administration department
As our new Construction Inspector, your key job functions and responsibilities will be:
Perform basic estimating knowledge.
Acquire field information to aid in project design.
Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with the design divisions, construction contractors and sub-contractors.
Demonstrate sufficient skills and judgment to be responsible for inspection of portions of projects under the supervision of senior construction staff.

High school diploma plus 1-2 years’ experience in a construction-oriented field.
NICET Level I Certification.
Special Inspection Certification a plus.
Is knowledgeable with the pertinent information of a construction project, or aspect of a construction project, including but not limited to the plans and specifications, right of way restrictions, permits, test procedures, schedules, shop drawings and submittals, utility locations utility owners.
A strong desire to increase construction knowledge and ability through training in related field.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of general safety requirements.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Prolog Converge, Microsoft Project or other project tracking software a plus.
Competency in one or more of the following: concrete, structural steel, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc.
Work effectively in teams.
