- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in any applicable field such as Environmental Engineering and 3 years of related experience, including experience conducting the operation and maintenance of remediation systems, evaluating and developing remediation alternatives for contaminated sites, conducting field work (soil, surface water and groundwater sampling, gauging, surveying, and aquifer testing), and compiling, analyzing and visualizing data using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI) and the R programming language.
- Travel required (<10%).
Tasks and Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate environmental engineering projects for multiple practices, including the Site Solutions, Digitalization, Air Compliance, and Sustainability practices, in order to provide innovative solutions to an international client base.
Duties include:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive site investigations by participating in scope of work development, field work, and data analysis to characterize contaminants in sediments, soil, air, surface water, and groundwater;
- Design, implement, evaluate, and manage various environmental remediation systems (e.g., soil vapor extraction (SVE), in-situ bioremediation (eISB), and groundwater extraction and treatment);
- Manage data compilation, analysis, and visualization projects involving the Microsoft Power Platform (including Power BI) and R;
- Conduct managerial technical review of project documentation;
- Prepare and review technical reports, including feasibility studies;
- Aerve as professional development manager for junior staff.
Additional duties include:
- Consult with clients and project teams to prepare project scope, costs, proposals, and client presentations including establishing work procedures and developing schedules, budgets, staffing requirements, and vendor/subcontractor contracts;
- Track milestones, deliverables, and compliance with established budgets, plans, specifications, company standards, and contract terms and conditions;
- Review and analyze the cost and cost control progress, financial and other site-generated data to evaluate job status and compliance;
- Communicate key issues and developments with clients, regulators, and project staff;
- Consult with potential clients to develop new business opportunities or expand current service offerings;
- Evaluate environmental regulations to inform decision-making;
- Ensure that employees work safely; manage environmental compliance, recordkeeping, and reporting to multiple industries (e.g., chemical sector, oil and gas, and general manufacturing);
- Review Title V, FESOP, and ROSS permit applications; review Tier II and Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) reports complying with the Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA);
- Evaluate staffing needs at project and office level; and participate in technical societies and/or attend internal and external programs

Salary : $85,500 - $108,000
