The Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist / SNOW Licensing Administrator is responsible for assisting Ramboll with understanding their license position relative to their installed software, consulting on best practices, and ensuring that the Ramboll experience is only of the highest quality.
The role is a dynamic and challenging opportunity that complements and extends the strengths of Snow License Manager. Ramboll is looking for candidates that are detail minded, but who also understand how to expeditiously move Ramboll through to the scoped outcome. This position involves direct interaction, data reconciliation and consulting to internal sales teams as needed.
What you’ll be doing
Activities Include:
• Leverage Snow License Manager for data collection, normalization, reconciliation and other features as needed
• Work directly with Ramboll Stakeholders to provide SAM Licensing services
• Data collection and upload of Ramboll contract and license entitlement information received from Ramboll, software partners and resellers
• Reconciliation of Ramboll license entitlement information vs deployed instances using Snow License Manager to support the Ramboll in achieving their compliance position
• Contribute to internal knowledge expansion and continual process improvement
What we require from you
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience
• Undergraduate degree from an accredited higher learning institution
• Licensing knowledge of product use rights for Microsoft, Symantec, Adobe, etc.
• Software Asset Management knowledge and experience
• Expertise in development of ITAM, SAM processes and process flow documentation
• Real world business process analysis
• IT experience and capability
• Client facing presentation and interview skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Enjoy working in a High Energy, fast paced environment
• Agility and flexibility within the working environment
• Working to strict deadlines
Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with SAM standards or frameworks (e.g. ISO 19770-X)
• Familiarity with data cleaning, data transformation, and data modeling processes and techniques
• Familiarity with various IT management / governance frameworks such as ITIL, MOF, COBIT, etc.
