Description: Lead Service Advisor
Our full-service financial advisory practice serves high net worth and emerging high net worth clients with wealth management, tax-efficient savings strategies, estate planning, risk management, and retirement planning.
We have an immediate opening for a key role on our team that will support our advisors in client meetings and with all follow up client communication.
Lead Service Advisor Job Duties:
- Partner with one of our advisors and attend all client meetings to provide backup and support
- Diligent note taking during client meetings
- Detailed case notes following every meeting
- On the fly research during meetings (Google, account info, etc.)
- Post-meeting client follow up e-mail (next steps, discovery agreement, summary e-mail, etc.)
- Ad hoc client communication & coordination
- Manage all client follow up and coordinate with our case preparation team, etc.
- This includes gathering missing information from the client.
- Upon receipt, scheduling the presentation meeting 5 business days later.
- Communicate onboarding plan to client
- Next steps e-mail when they are coming on board with us, etc.
- Schedule all client review meetings
- Collect information in advance of review meetings to update the financial plan for the client
- Create follow up tasks for the team
- Update our client Recommendation Execution Checklist
- Ensure that our "Everything after the Yes" process is followed
- Delegate/Communicate with our Insurance, Investments and Fee Based Planning departments
- Coordinate client investment/insurance “delivery” meetings
- Ensure receipt of all delivery documents
- Update new client data in our CRM system
- E-file all relevant client materials once case is complete
- Ensure that clients get a response within 1 business day
- Delegate service tasks to our Insurance or Investment operations teams
- Confirm client investment trades
- Verify data entered and follow-up with clients for additional information needed
- Work with advisor to adjust inputs and planning strategy as needed
- Print and bind final client presentations
- Maintain client confidence and trust through zero defect work and professional communications
- Manage up to ensure client presentations are prepared, reviewed, and finalized prior to meetings
Completion of the following certifications, licenses, and designations within the timelines outlined below are requirements of the position.
- Contracting as an Associate Financial Representative
- This includes passing the MA Health & Life Producers Exam and all internal contracting requirements within the first 3 months of employment
- Designation as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA)
- This requires completing the SIE, Series 7 and 66 licensing through FINRA and any additional internal requirements within the first 9 months of employment
Pursuit of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is highly encouraged.
Lead Service Advisor Candidate MUST possess the following:
- Strong mathematical and analytical orientation
- Meticulous detail orientation (requires proofing of language and numerical work to produce client-ready materials)
- Procedural work habits / exceptional organization (ability to keep track of many moving pieces and details across dozens of clients)
- Strong work ethic/desire to get the job done right
- Initiative and an ownership mentality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with personal financial planning topics and concepts, investments, and insurance
