What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Teacher (2022-2023 SY) position at Randolph Public School District?
The Randolph High School Mathematics Teacher will facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implement district approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals. The ideal candidate will: Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and various community agencies for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes, developing solutions, and planning curriculum.Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. Plan and deliver effective and engaging instructionPromote equity and appreciation of diversity Maintain classroom management Promote high standards and expectations for student achievement Provide rigorous instruction aligned with the MA Common Core Practices and Standards Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal and/or Math Coordinator/Coach Preferred: Teaching Responsibilities for 2022-2023:-Certification in teaching AP Calculus and/or AP Statistics preferred.
