We are seeking a Data Analyst to play an active role in Assurance Data Analysis, supporting IT initiatives like the Enterprise Item Master and Product Inquiry Dashboard for our client. This role involves analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and potential issues, and communicating these insights to the program team. The position requires collaboration with IT and our Data & System Sr. Analyst to extract crucial information that aids our process operational strategies, decision-making, and reporting. Key responsibilities include performing initial data assessments, developing reporting strategies, maintaining data integrity during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and generating visual dashboards and customized reports. Ideal candidates should have 5-10 years of experience, a solid understanding of data modeling, and strong analytical skills. A Bachelor's degree is a plus, and experience in merchandising, logistics, and retail sales at a product level is preferred. This role is pivotal in supporting informed decision-making across the organization and requires a capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Explore collected data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Interpret the findings and present them to wider audiences, such as the IT team and/or Risk and Compliance partners.
- Conduct initial data analysis (data impact assessments) and present findings to the IT and Business teams, focusing on building out our Enterprise Item Master and the Product Inquiry Dashboard, as well as the Snowflake DataMart. Then validate during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) that the data aligns with our stakeholders' expectations."
- Perform statistical methods to analyze data and draw insights using techniques such as descriptive statistics, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and inferential statistics.
- Collaboration with our business partners, develop report prioritization and performance tracking. This includes defining report requirements such as audience segmentation, frequency, KPI identification, and dashboard definition.
- Provide context to performance through standardized and documented definition of key attributes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and in collaboration with business partners.
- Leads creating effective reporting solutions to provide valuable insights to stakeholders. Whether its visual dashboards, scheduled reports, or customized ad hoc reports, your work contributes to informed decision-making within the organization.
- Effectively monitors and handles the repository of reports.
- Supports ad hoc operational data requests and reporting.
- Periodically reviews report catalog, assesses usage, and adjusts reports as needed to meet current business needs.
