Randstad Technologies is seeking an experienced end user support technician for an exciting opportunity in the Kansas City area. This person will be responsible for providing end user support to users through help desk and remote desktop to local and remote users throughout the company. In this position you provide first level support through remote desktop tools.

salary: $20 - 25 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Providing end user support over the phone through remote desktop and responding to service tickets
- Installing troubleshooting and repairing computer equipment
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Provides first-level support through remote desktop tools.
- Tracks route and redirect requests to correct resources as needed.
- Escalates and provides critical incident support as needed.
- Follows up with customers, provides timely updates, and sees problems through to the end.
- Ensures proper documentation of incidents, requests, and follows established ticketing processes.
- Updates exciting Help Desk documentation to reflect troubleshooting steps for known errors
Requirements
- 1 year or experience providing technical support for common operating systems and software applications (Windows, Active Directory, Office)
- Experience Supporting engineering applications is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school or technical courses in computer repair are a plus and may partially substitute for experience.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Analytical and well organized.
- Good communication skills
- Must be accurate. A certification preferred
