job summary:

We are looking for a senior level deskside support candidate to work onsite 5 days a week in NYC. This Desktop Support role will support the c-level execs to the Business Analyst assiting computer issues, apple issues, AV issues and beyond. Personality plaus a huge role in this position being able to support with a smile, knowing how to handle executives and technically savvy.


 

location: NEW YORK, New York

salary: $40 - 50 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

 

responsibilities:



  • Establish Teams meetings and assure all devices are working properly

  • Provide meeting support for Investor Relations and Shareholders meetings

  • Support print and other specific configuration requirements for the executive team

  • Interface for technical issues for other business units in the Fortress environment who share our space

  • Provide cell and mobile phone support

  • Address one-off requests for new equipment, application requests and coordinate the acquisition

  • Monitor help desk tickets and take on tickets as needed

  • Handle drive-by requests to address system and hardware/software issues

  • Assist users in leveraging Teams and Office 365

  • Work with Fortress lines of business to assure consistent support for non-NFE people on our floors

  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure team to address systemic issues

  • Participate in problem resolution and event management

  • Interact with vendors and our managed service providers in resolving issues both technical and logistical

  • We have a constant churn of new business initiatives and each requires some level of IT support, so this role will get involved in those as needed.
