Our client is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with 10 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of network technologies and best practices. The role involves medium to high complexity network support, including off-shift emergencies, engineering and administrative tasks, and implementing network changes. Candidates should be proficient in IP Routing and Switching, WAN, Firewalls, and preferably have experience with Arista and F5 technologies. This position requires occasional office attendance and may include evening hours to accommodate global stakeholders. Local candidates preferred for contractual roles, with potential for permanent hire. Interviews will be a panel format with three team members. responsibilities:
- Provides medium to high complexity network support activities, including off-shift support.
- Completes network engineering and administration maintenance tasks and analyzes processes for improvement.
- Performs medium to high complexity network changes and implementations.
- Participates in the network technology design process.
- Analyzes potential changes and enhancements to network software and hardware to determine impact on existing production.
- Works as a member of a project team on business projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of a network technology discipline (e.g. IP Routing and Switching, Routing Protocols, WAN, Firewall, Packet Analysis, IP Telephony, Infrastructure, Capacity Planning, IT Tools and other relevant technologies.
