QA Lead - Marketing/CRM Tools

Our client is looking for an onsite QA / test lead who will play a primary role in the planning and execution of all aspects of testing across multiple web applications within their marketing IT ecosystem.

• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.

• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

• Act as key point of contact onsite for all test aspects of releases, providing test services and coordinating with test resources offshore.

• Lead and mentor QA team members as needed

• 7 years' experience in the software testing or Quality Assurance field including hands-on test engineering experience (web application test experience preferred).

• Ability to write select queries and a solid understanding of relational databases.

• Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to support various development methodologies

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity)

• Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.

• Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and ensure that system components are designed for testability.

• Partner with offshore team to conduct performance tests as needed.

Provide testing support during production cutover (releases) as needed

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors (required)
