Our client, a trusted manufacturing equipment provider (located in Waukesha, WI) is looking for a Systems Technician to use schematics/CAD drawing to assemble, install, debug and troubleshoot various types of industrial equipment. Qualified candidates should be able to use different electrical, pneumatic and mechanical hand tools as necessary. responsibilities:

• Work both independently and as part of a project team.
• Must have own set of tools
• Must be able to work night and weekends as needed
• Travel is required

ELECTRICAL

• Wire electrical sub-panels from schematics and customer specifications.
• Modify enclosures as required to fit components.
• Operate a variety of labeling devices and machines.
• Understands the build process and how to make mechanical or electrical changes.
• Proficient with industry electrical code, NEC, ANSI, NFPA, and OSHA.

MECHANICAL

• Read and interpret assembly blueprints or specifications manuals and plan assembly or building operations.
• Understands the build process and how to make mechanical or electrical changes.
• Set up and operate metalworking machines, such drills, grinders, saws, hammer drills, etc.
• Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
