Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students with diverse special educational needs, including managing challenging behaviour.
- Assist in classroom activities, ensuring a secure and positive learning environment.
- Offer personal care when needed, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene support.
- Implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care and education.
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle and respond positively to challenging behaviour.
- Willingness to provide personal care as required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation due to the school's location and off-site activities.
