What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Manager position at Randstad US?
Spherion, the franchise division of Randstad, is searching for a Learning Manager. The Learning Manager is part of the franchise support team for the Spherion owner community. This role is focused on functionality across our 200 locations. You will work with our delivery, marketing and operation teams! This is a remote opportunity!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and maintain training. current training delivery methods and make recommendations to improve trainee experience as well as outcome.
- Ensure all training content is updated real-time as systems, best practices, business processes evolve overtime
- Provide regular progress updates to Spherion executive team regarding training initiatives
- Participate in the content development required for the franchise disclosure document
- Partner with Franchise leadership, owners and colleagues to identify critical training needs or gaps that are essential to drive growth
- Engage with business subject matter experts to create content for training
- Ensure consistency in training format and delivery
- Seek to identify, repurpose and leverage existing training content within the greater organization that would is applicable to Spherion
- Host trains the trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts (system related rollouts, enhancements, new products, etc.)
- Personally deliver various training content in person, live web training and or recorded online
- Maintain overall Spherion training calendar of events
- Coordinate training session logistics for all corporate sponsored training (hotels, food, schedules, training materials, etc.)
- Track training performance and measure the effectiveness
- Trainee knowledge retention by issuing assessment test and quizzes on course material
- Training impact and correlation to new hire ramp (0-1 year tenure group)
- Solicit training feedback through regular post training surveys and recommend necessary changes to improve training effectiveness
- Establish performance tracking and reporting within Learning Management System (LMS)
- Develop training schedules and plans for corporate sponsored training initiatives
Education
- Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
Work Experience
- 6 years experience as a training coordinator, manager or similar role in a corporate environment or staffing environment
- Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events simultaneously
- Experience with e-learning platform
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
- Extensive knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
- Proven ability to complete full training lifecycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
- Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives

The base salary range for this position is $91,770.00 - $130,700.00.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
