What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at Randstad US?
Supporting Talent Payroll and Time & Labor operations and the business goals of the company at large, the Business Services Time & Labor Team Specialist is responsible for comprehensive support of accurate and timely reporting and process of pay components from time capture tools related to reported hours, reconciliation, and adjustments.
What you get to do:
- Performs all activities necessary to load time files into staging tables for payroll process for identified tools and/or platforms
- Process additional pay items as requested including but not limited to expenses, holiday pay, paid time off, etc. for timely pay
- Completes post processing audits and completes adjustments as required
- Documents and updates procedures for optimal team performance
- Cross train team members on the portfolio nuances of their respective customers and/or branches
- Review existing processes and recommend improvements to the same
- Support compliance and control protocol as defined by organization key control framework
- Develop professional relationships within Business Services, support teams, and customer LOB Operations
- Provide exemplary customer service support via Ivanti ticketing, email, phone, and chat to business partners
- Act as SME to support training programs and initiatives to ensure workforce is versed on rules of engagement for departmental processes (i.e. compliance and regulatory, contractual, system)
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other applicable discipline preferred
- 1 years of demonstrated work experience in payroll team role, preferred
- PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Self-motivation with strong attention to detail
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously, to meet deadlines, and exceed goals
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Execute payroll as described
- Ensure department productivity and company objectives are met
- Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives

The base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $56,700.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
