Responsibilities

• Diagnostics : Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software
• Mechanical Aptitude : Understanding of engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
• Electrical Systems : Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and electronic components
• Engine Repair : Diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel engines
• Suspension and Steering : Diagnosing and repairing suspension and steering systems
• Transmission and Drivetrain : Understanding manual and automatic transmissions, differentials, and drive axles
• Tool Usage : Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair tools
• Safety Procedures : Knowledge of safety protocols for a safe working environment
• Fabrication : Ability to weld and fabricate parts when necessary
• Preventive Maintenance : Performing routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections

The essential functions of this role include :

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
