Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an intermediate-level accountant for a hybrid long-term temporary role in San Jose. I want to talk to you if in previous roles, you have been responsible for processing large-volume invoices, processing check runs, and have 3 years of experience in Accounts payable processing.    

salary: $35 - $45 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely processing of vendor invoices, consultant billings, and contract agency billings.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies between invoices and receiving paperwork
• Strategically process vendor discounts given
• Support processing of weekly check runs.
• Research and determine the proper resolution for unmatched open P.O. receipts.
• Assist with month-end accruals.
• Other AP support duties as assigned
• Experience with Payroll processing would be helpful.

The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 40 hrs of overtime per week
