AR Specialist

We are working with a well known Pro-Biotics company that's looking to hire an AR specialist to support their operations full time. This a contract to hire role and they're looking to have this person stay The ideal candidate has experience with processing and posting invoices, bank deposits, reconciliations and basic operations

salary: $28 - $31 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Invoicing a. Daily Invoicing – batch, transfer all orders to invoices, correct GL accounts and
• Class IDs, post to the general ledger, and make any necessary adjustments to
• invoices before posting.
• b. Send all invoices to customers weekly via mail or email.
• 2. Bank Deposit
• a. Input and post all customer checks, ACH, Wires, and credit card payments.
• b. Create and post credit memos for deductions taken from payments.
• c. Dispute all bankcard chargeback’s and place account on hold.
• 3. Contact accounts with outstanding balances to resolve past due balances or shortage
• claims.
• 4. Mail out weekly invoice for retail customers
• 5. Create and email customer statements monthly.
• 6. Enter, update and maintain Accounts Receivable customer files and master card
• records.
• 7. Issue customer refunds and process credit memos.
• 8. Inventory
• a. Coordinate with the warehouse staff to research inventory discrepancies.
• b. Clear all un-posted transactions for end of year inventory.
• 9. Month-end
• a. Enter and post bank deposits for Amazon, PayPal and Cybersource transactions.
• b. Email sales employees all missing payments and refunds.
• c. Enter and post all necessary payment and credit memo adjustments to correct
• bank deposits.
• 10. Review and reconcile Accounts Receivable aging and determine appropriate actions for
• discrepancies.
• 11. Handle Credit Card Disputes

Skills

Basic Accounts Receivable (2 years of experience is required)

AR (2 years of experience is required)

Reconciliation (2 years of experience is required)

Bank Deposits (2 years of experience is required)
