Bookkeeper

An automated processing company based out of Alameda, CA is in search of a bookkeeper on a part-time base.  This company provides automated processing of invoices and remittances, digitizing paper and electronic documents for mid-sized businesses and government entities throughout the United States. The company brings large-scale technological capabilities to mid-scale applications.  The Bookkeeper oversees a company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable. They perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments. This role does have an opportunity for growth in the role and a permanent possibility for the right candidate. Partime: Flexible on days and hours (office hours m-f 8-5)  Hrs: 15-20

salary: $25 - $30 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Oversee a company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable

Financial entries and reconciliations

Perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
