CNC MACHINIST

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer to join our team! As a CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. We are seeking some who has:

• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer.
• Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.).
• Good understanding of machining processes and tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Problem-solving skills to address issues during the machining process.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
• Prior experience with [specific CNC lathe brands/models your company uses] is a plus.

salary: $72,800 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Program CNC lathe machines using G-code programming language and CAM software.
• Load materials into the machine and perform necessary tool changes and adjustments.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure it is running smoothly and make any necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making sure they meet the required tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine and tooling issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment
