Responsibilities

Position Overview:



The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.
 

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC  Lathe and/or Mill machines machines by selecting and installing the appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials according to job specifications
• Program and edit CNC machine controls using G-code and other programming languages
• Load raw materials onto the machine and secure them properly to ensure accurate machining processes
• Perform test runs to ensure proper machine functionality and identify any issues before production runs
• Monitor machine operations during the production process to ensure quality and efficiency, making any necessary adjustments as needed
• Maintain close tolerance dimensions while producing parts
• Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet design specifications
• Troubleshoot and diagnose any technical problems that arise during the machining process and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine machine maintenance and tool changes
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and supervisors, to optimize production processes and achieve production goals
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

The essential functions of this role include:
