Responsibilities
- Ensure parts that arrive are properly received into our inventory system.
- Set up Min/Max for parts that are stock items.
- Determine critical parts that we need to have on-hand.
- Work with Maintenance Techs and the Planner Scheduler to have correct quantity of parts available as needed.
- Procure parts for Maintenance Techs for Preventative Maintenance and Planned work.
- Work with the Maintenance Techs and Planner/Scheduler to maximize “wrench time” or time Techs spend working on equipment.
- Cycle count parts to ensure we have an accurate inventory.
- Comply with all GMP and Safety requirements.
- Drive a forklift and maneuver pallets of equipment.
- Works well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Maintains a well organized and neat stock room so people can find parts based on our inventory system.
- Willing to make suggestions on improvements to plant systems.
- Innovative and willing to try new things and drive changes that improve the status quo.
- Must be knowledgeable and savvy with Microsoft Excel.
- Prepares items for shipping as required.
- Knowledgeable with mechanical parts (timing belts, bearings, sprockets, etc.).
- All other duties as assigned.
