responsibilities:
Note: this is a not a software/dev ops release manager position. This position resides in the ePMO.
- Own the Release Management for projects and programs.
- Able to support standard Waterfall and Agile releases of infrastructure, integrations, and new application implementations, working with development, project management, testing, and IT service management to ensure every aspect of successful completion and launch is accomplished.
- Build release schedule, identify release gates, and manage all resources and deliverables.
- Manage and mitigate risks, as well as resolving issues that impact release schedule and quality
- Track the progress and find issues, if any. Always work to improve the process of release.
- Communicate status and updates to release team, business, and leadership
- Validate requirements are complete and testing issues are resolved.
- Work with IT Support to ensure Hypercare readiness and
- Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
- Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software.
- Schedule the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.
- Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications list, and dependencies.

- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)

- Merger/Acq Release Mgmt (2 years of experience is required)
- PMP (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Project Management
