responsibilities:
- Support inspection and test of solar cells and related components.
- Prepare test system and software design documents.
- Develop and maintain test software.
- Collaborate with Tooling Engineers on test support fixtures.
- Translate customer specifications and drawings into test documentation.
- Resolve test execution issues and coordinate technician training.
- Conduct Test and Equipment Readiness Reviews.
- Troubleshoot and interpret test results.
- Lead root cause/corrective action efforts.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement in test procedures and systems.
- Provide technical support to marketing, suppliers, and customers.
- Develop and maintain software for various applications.
- Participate in factory automation, PCB/PCBA design, and process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience with National Instruments hardware and LabVIEW programming.
- 3 years of experience setting up and testing various products and assemblies.
- 3 years of experience in developing test software.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
- Experience with office tools like Microsoft Office.
- 5 years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience combination.
- Quick learner with the ability to make clear decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with electronic components and environmental testing.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processing and material characterization.
- Familiarity with industry material and qualification requirements.
- Experience in process automation and continuous improvement.
- Statistical analysis and lean principles knowledge.
