A company in Chicago is looking for a Warehouse receiving clerk! The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in Shipping and Receiving and forklift experience. We are looking for candidates with great attendance, detail oriented and ready to work in a fast paced environment. If this is you, apply now! Must be able to pass screening and drug test. Responsibilities
Work directly with customers and carriers to determine the best method of transportation, based on the
customer’s requirements
• Manage shipping documentation on a daily basis, including but not limited to: maintaining the order
scheduling process, printing of initial orders and address labels, updating the shipping log tracking
information, scanning in documentation to the server, and reprinting of revised orders.
• Responsible for the properly signing in of drivers and visitors by using the sign in sheet.
• Administrative duties include completion of all required paperwork and organization of all pertinent
shipping documentation.
• Work directly with the Warehouse Supervisor and Lead(s) along with carriers in the scheduling of pick-ups
while utilizing the Dock Schedule.
• Assist with Cycle Counts, Physical Inventory,
• Assist with audit preparations and participate as requested by management
• General housekeeping in warehouse setting.
• Miscellaneous other duties as directed by Management.
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 40lbs standing for 5 hours at one time
