Full Stack Javascript Engineer

job summary:
This client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated full stack JavaScript engineer to join our talented Software Engineering team. By joining our team, you will get to work in an exciting, fast-paced company using the latest cutting-edge technologies. Your primary responsibility will be building, designing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable React and TypeScript code. They are looking for someone who is excited and passionate about development and has experience working specifically with React Native, Node.js, and relational databases in a modern, cloud-based architecture. This developer will also be expected to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of demonstrated professional experience with React Native, TypeScript, and Node Js-based REST APIs (Express, Koa, Nestjs)
• Demonstrated professional experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL)
• Hands-on experience with Redux and client-side state management.
• Ability to write well designed, testable, and efficient code using software development best practices and patterns.
• Understanding of REST APIs and offline storage.
• Experience in testing with tools like Jest or React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts that might occur.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Demonstrated experience working with Amazon Web Services (ECS, ALB, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, ...) and/or Azure (App Services, Storage Accounts, App Gateways...)
• Exstensive verbal and written communications skills for working well with our team of talented engineers.

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Architect and develop highly scalable and secure database solutions to store and retrieve data.
• Build clean, fully tested, readable code that is both secure and scalable.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Take ownership in what is built and show a general passion for development, architecture, UI, and UX.
• Participate in and support the Agile (SCRUM) development process.
