Installation Technician - Travel

Randstad is seeking an Installation Technician that is based out of Rhode Island. The candidate must have a Professional and Courteous demeanor to interact with customer representatives. The candidate should be experienced with: installations (flooring is preferred), measuring, math, blueprint/diagram reading, hand/power tools, problem solving, and have attention to detail. The position requires traveling to commercial customer sites such as: Pharmaceutical, Electronics, Hospitals, IT Datacenters, and Government facilities. Responsibilities

- Installing, Repairing, and Removing Specialized Flooring at commercial facilities.

- Inspect and clean surface in preparation for material. Install underlayment if required due to improper subfloor.

- Cut flooring materials and use adhesive to glue material to floor.

- Clean up floors and inspect finished product for flaws.

- Provide required cleaning demonstration to customer on site.

- Assist in investigating complaints/issues with installed areas and assist in resolving problems.

- Maintain excellent rapport with customers.

- Documents service and installation actions by completing required reports.

- Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.

- Communicate any issues/changes to the Office.

- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
