Large food manufacturer and distributor is hiring for an Inventory Associate for their warehouse operations located in Hauppauge NY 11788. Candidates will also have to operate a sit down or stand up forklift- experience with these forklifts a plus. Responsibilities
- Operates forklifts- Sit down and Stand up experience required
- Signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products according to demand
- Must have experience utilizing computers and ERP systems to adjust/search for inventory
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
- Maintains in-process inventory
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Assist with shipping and receiving
