Our client is looking for a machine operator who will be responsible for following the processes of a designated production area according to procedures. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has the ability to lift and carry 25lbs , can perform basic math functions, has at least 1 year of experience with forklift, and is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Pay rate for this role is $18/hour. Hours are 8pm-8am, continential shift.

Responsibilities
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 12 hours at one time
SkillsSetting Tending Math and Calculation Moving Material Monitoring Machine Operation (2 years of experience is required) Basic Computer Skills Forklift Operation (1 year of experience is required)

Responsibilities
- Ensure all material and products processed in the production area of assigned responsibility conform to internal product specifications
- Perform continuous visual inspection of product
- Perform physical inspection of product and raw material to test or measure quality characteristics
- Delegated authority, responsibility, and ownership to determine adherence to specifications and physical qualities of the product, equipment, and process
- Identify, record, separate, or stage scrap material or products to designated areas and maintain designated areas orderly and clean
- Properly and accurately maintain documents
- Properly package and stage finished products
- Proper disposition of products and materials
- Ensure traceability of product by complying with labeling requirements
- Keep co-workers and supervisor informed of all safety, quality, process, equipment, and employee issues
- Must work closely with line operator to maintain line and produce a quality product
- Perform additional responsibilities as delegated by production shift technician and production shift supervisor
