Maintenance Technician

Randstad is looking for Maintenance Techs on 2nd shift & 3rd shift! Temp to hire Opportunities with a Logistics Company in Palmyra! Our skilled team of mechanics are the driving force that keeps our Continuous Motion Form-Fill-Seal bag makers operating in top condition. As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining bag makers manufactured by Rovema and Hayseen and performing necessary repairs while adhering to company standards and safety policies. This role is critical to providing our facility with safe and reliable equipment, helping to deliver superior service to our customers.  Requirements: To successfully demonstrate skills or capability to the Manager. 3 yrs of experience as a technician. Ability to access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance; including inspect and perform work in, on, or under parts of mechanized machinery. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to read simple drawings; and more! 2nd shift: Mon-Fri 245pm-11pm 3rd shift: Mon-Fri 1045pm-7am Client Screenings & Interviews are Required. Responsibilities

What you’ll do on a typical day: • Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good, safe working order • Perform necessary preventive maintenance in a timely manner with adequate recordkeeping • Maintain supply of spare parts inventory • Ensure equipment is started properly at the beginning of the shift • Maintain equipment in running order with minimal downtime • Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation; diagnose and make repairs as needed • Maintain documentation of performance of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages, and other projects
