Maintenance Technician

This position creates value by performing predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance leading to increased uptime, reliability, and the assurance of meeting production and quality goals. salary: $54,000 - $62,000 per year

Responsibilities

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be a hands-on self-starter, supporting plant production process to meet all safety and operational goals. Perform day-to-day inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of plant equipment. This position will report to the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Manager and/or other managers as assigned.

•  Read and interpret, equipment Prints, Schematics, manuals, procedures, drawings and other specifications to determine the repair method on failed components.
•  Ability to perform preventive, predictive and precision maintenance correctly. The capability and experience to correctly install and align new and existing equipment following safe-work practices utilizing hand tools, specialized tools, equipment and fixtures.
• Ability to prioritize daily work load and maintenance requirements based on safety, equipment
  criticality, quality and production schedule requirements.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 30lbs

standing for 6 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
