Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Kansas City, KS area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for production lines, equipment, and facility maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of operating equipment during production and breakdowns.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve safety, productivity, and quality goals.
- Assist in identifying root causes of failures and breakdowns.
- Review electrical and pneumatic schematics during troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in maintenance or related field is advantageous.
- Practical familiarity with basic maintenance shop equipment.
- Physical capability to bend, climb, crawl, work in confined spaces, handle hazardous conditions, work in extreme weather, handle hazardous materials, and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must also be comfortable working at heights.
- strong prioritization and multitasking abilities to excel in a fast-paced work environment, ensuring the company's operational continuity.
- Effective organizational skills to maintain adequate supplies for routine maintenance tasks and promptly procure additional supplies when necessary to minimize downtime.
