responsibilities:
- Coordinates the procurement, expediting, production, and delivery of materials on time.
- Manages the movement of rejected materials to the source.
- Recommends procedures for specific situations to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Finds and corrects the root cause of material shortages.
- Utilizes the Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
- Processes transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
- Audits material replenishment cycles for accuracy and may create replenishment plans.
- Resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Works on critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
- Implements the output from the engineering release and change management process.
- Efficient with Excel.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Expect to walk frequently throughout the shift, as the position involves a mix of desk work and troubleshooting on the manufacturing shop floor.
- strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
