Randstad has an opening for a warehouse material handler in Haverhill, MA! Hours are Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm $17hr Responsible for locating, delivering and removing raw materials, in-process and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process. Works with lean team to develop and implement appropriate process improvements in team area. These areas include shipping and receiving. Responsibilities
Responsible for locating, delivering and removing raw materials, in-process and
finished goods throughout the manufacturing process.
2. Adds and removes components in the supermarket or consignment area.
Responsible for supermarket or consignment area.
3. Works with lean team to develop and implement appropriate process
improvements in team area.
4. In conjunction with Supply Chain/Accounting, solves issues relative to inventory
discrepancies and documentation problems. Preforms cycle counts and inventory
adjustments as needed.
5. Works with team to cross train and cover areas when employees are absent or
when an area is over capacity. These areas include but are not limited to the
supermarket, consignment, shipping and receiving.
6. Ensures material is put away in accordance to FIFO process and delivered to the
appropriate areas.
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs
