We are looking for a Billing Rep to join our team. The Billing representative handles both insurance billing and direct patient billing.
- Experience with Behavioral Health and/or Oncology (Required)
- HB EPIC insurance billing and follow-up experience (Required)

Responsibilities
- Provides financial, credit, debt management counseling, and education services to patients.
- Utilizes alternative means for obtaining coverage for uninsured or underinsured patients.
- Responsible for performing complex insurance verification and eligibility determinations as well as varied administrative and highly responsible clerical functions of a sensitive nature, including complex investigative and problem-solving activities in support of minimizing the hospital's bad debt risk.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of medical billing with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, billing software, and medical terminology
- Demonstrated proficiency with productivity software (Microsoft Office & Excel)
- Experience with HIPAA and compliance-sensitive environments
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to collaborate independently and within a team
