Member Services

We are looking for a Member Service Representative for a credit union to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our credit union and will play a fundamental role in achieving our member satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of transactions daily, communicate with different types of members and answer questions regarding our products/services, originate consumer loans and open new accounts. Responsibilities

• Conduct dozens of credit union routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals etc.)
• Assess members needs and proved a resolution 
• Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction
• Comply with regulatory requirements
• Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
• Resolve members issues and provide relevant information
• accurate and timely assistance when originating consumer loans and opening new accounts, certificates, and IRAs
• a high level of interpersonal skills to conduct productive interviews with loan applicants and cross sell credit union services to our membership
• must present a friendly and professional manner toward members
