The role of the Hot Mill Metallurgist is to provide technical support to operations and sales, review customer inquiries and determine mill capability, lead and/or assist with customer and internal corrective actions, champion process, quality and cost improvements, assist in development of new products and/or process improvements, disposition of non-conforming material, set up of production orders to ensure material is produced to satisfy customer requirements, perform other duties as assigned.
