Responsibilities
The Mold Maker is tasked with maintaining and enhancing molds, conducting repairs, and creating new molds based on blueprints, utilizing a variety of machinery such as lathes, grinding, and milling machines.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time

- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Toolmaker
- Mold Maker Journeyman Certificate preferred
- Experience with shop equipment & machinery

Responsibilities
The Mold Maker is tasked with maintaining and enhancing molds, conducting repairs, and creating new molds based on blueprints, utilizing a variety of machinery such as lathes, grinding, and milling machines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Molding Department and R&D Engineering team to: Perform maintenance, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on plastic injection molds
- Fabricate new spare components and fixtures
- Construct prototype molds from inception to completion
- Utilize manual equipment including Mills, Proto-Trak, Lathe, Surface Grinders, and EDM
- Keep the Tool Room Supervisor updated on the status of tool-related issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adapt, modify, and construct molds for various molding operations, including plastic injection molding and die-cast tooling
- Stay informed about materials and product knowledge
- Operate within a LEAN manufacturing environment and actively propose process improvements
