What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Randstad?

We are looking for individuals with painting experience for a position in the Newport News area. This is an entry powder coater painting position. You will also assist with hanging parts for the paint line and push the rods around to the paint line. This is a 2nd shift role 2pm to 10:30pm Monday-Friday. The pay is $16 an hour. Responsibilities
- Entry Level powder coater painter/helper
- Hanging parts for the paint line and pushing the rods around to the paint line
- Prepare and powder paint a variety of surfaces including, steel, aluminum, and other shop coated metal.
- Apply protective powder coating to items such as equipment and miscellaneous metalwork
- Must be able to take directions
- Need someone who shows up to work daily
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time
